Boarding school. Boring school? Not Lockers Park! Play is taken as seriously as work at Lockers. We appreciate that each boy is unique, so activities are as diverse as their interests, ranging from stamp collecting to paintballing.

What if I need some fresh air?

Many activities rely on our superb facilities and large grounds including our all weather astro pitch, heated swimming pool, shooting range and tennis courts.  We also offer croquet, golf, cycling, mountain-boarding and camping, as well as all the usual competitive team sports.

But what if it's wet?

We offer all the indoor favourites: badminton, snooker, table-tennis, squash, art, chess, drama, debating, computing,  table-football, camcording, photography, bridge, technology (such as making a racing car), and a large train set in a dedicated train room!

So why do you have minibuses parked outside?

There are regular visits to the local cinema and the theatre, as well as trips to castles, museums, ice-skating, football, rugby and cricket matches, paintballing, go-karting, canoeing and bowling.  We are also only a mile from The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead, Europe’s newest indoor real snow slope.

But I'm actually interested in…

If you're going to say abseiling - that's done, just before you have a chance to try something very similar to potholing. There's plenty else as well, and if we don't do it, ask, and we'll probably find a way to add it to the calendar!
